Can I vote?
Most people can vote in the local elections this November. To be eligible you must be older than 18. Citizens of the EU, the UK, Norge, Island, Kalaallit Nunaat or Føroyar are immediately eligible, while citizens of other nations must have lived in Denmark for a minimum of four years.
For more information in English, see this page from the Ministry of the Interior.
Across the world extremism is on the rise, and the Danish government has begun distancing itself from basic human rights.
Why?
Contemporary politicians want to remove your rights. Not just to vote, but to exist. Your vote matters a lot.
Copenhagen must resist
We want the city council to stand up for the humans of Copenhagen. We should increase our independence from Christiansborg, and stop enforcing obvious human rights violations.
We need to retake control of the police force, to ensure proper training, sufficient safeguards and a basic level of respect for all humans.
